Kiersten Mooney is owner of Bala Vinyasa Yoga, a Baptiste Affiliate Studio and Registered Yoga School. She is a Senior Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga Teacher, an E-RYT200 – RYT500, and leads an accredited 200-hour yoga teacher training program annually. Kiersten’s students enjoy her lighthearted perspective, grounded by insights that help sustain them through an intense practice.

Leigh is a certified Bala Vinyasa Yoga Teacher, RYT, and the director of Bala Vinyasa Yoga. Her classes are physically challenging yet lighthearted, guiding students to discover their inner strength, move through self-limiting thoughts, and explore possibility with open hearts and minds.

Debi Grilo is a Certified Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga Teacher, E-RYT and the Director of Teacher Development. In Debi’s classes, the space is created for transformation to create the life we want.

No matter who, what or where the class, Angela is always humbled by the intelligence of the body, the grounding of the breath, the sweetness of being entirely in the present moment.

Maryann was introduced to yoga in her twenties but did not practice regularly until 2007 when her daughter Kiersten opened Bala Vinyasa Yoga.

Angie Ferraro has a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota and obtained her Masters of Art in Teaching from Hamline University.

Yoga has been an instrumental part of Jacqueline’s life for more than 15 years. She is an Associate Baptiste Teacher and a certified Kest Power Yoga Instructor.

With her expansive knowledge of the body and yoga, Mollie teaches a playful, fun, and challenging class.

Tara Kalajian is a certified Bala Vinyasa Yoga Teacher. The Baptiste style has influenced Tara’s yoga practice by allowing her to become more present in her practice, and have faith in herself to take risks both on and off her mat.

Susie Lentz is a 200Hr certified Bala Vinyasa Yoga Teacher and attended her first yoga training with Baron Baptiste in September 2011. Through the Baptiste style of yoga, Susie learned to believe in herself.

For Christine teaching yoga ties together her love for people and yoga. She believes that yoga is about connecting to one’s heart and to other beings.

Sara Mueller is a 200-hour certified Bala Vinyasa Yoga teacher, a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), and is in ongoing training with Baron Baptiste. Her classes allow her students to tap into their own joy, power, and passion, and take their yoga practice beyond where they think is possible.

Meredith brings close to twenty years of teaching experience to Bala Vinyasa Yoga with over 2000 hours of teacher training. She has taught Ashtanga, Iyengar and Purna yoga, studying with master teachers Donna Farhi, David Swenson, Tias Little and Aadil Pahlkivala.

Hanna encourages her students to embrace willingness over sheer willpower and to expand their perceived edge with curiosity and kindness.

Matt Rowen is a graduate of the Bala Vinyasa Yoga 200-hour Teacher Training Certification Program. He is drawn to the Baptiste style of yoga because it incorporates breath, movement, heat and transformational growth.

Melanie first found yoga as a college student when she was a personal trainer and fitness instructor at the University of Alabama. After many years of running, biking and swimming, Melanie began relying more on yoga as a means of alleviating chronic back pain, and to gain back some of the flexibility she once had in her youth.

Jennifer grew up in Michigan and received a BA in Interior Design from Michigan State University and has enjoyed a career in interior design for over 25 years. She first began practicing yoga 2003, originally as an enhancement to other fitness routines which quickly fell by the wayside when she discovered Power Yoga in 2007.

Lynda Waterhouse, RYT, first started yoga as a college student. After many years of training in aerobics and weights, she rediscovered yoga and has been avidly practicing ever since.
